Privacy Policy
At Monte app (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines our data protection practices and details the types of information we may collect when you install and/or use our mobile application (the "App").
By using our Platforms, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully to understand how we collect and use your information.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
When using our Platforms, we may collect and receive various types of information:
Personal Information: We gather personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, physical address, and phone number) only when you choose to provide it. This information helps us communicate with you, deliver services, and enhance our offerings. By sharing this information, you consent to its use as described in this policy. Your information may be shared with our offices or authorized third parties as needed.
Camera and Photo Library Permissions: By granting us permission (through the camera access alert or your device's Settings app), you enable us to access your Camera for capturing photos to be used as prompts. If you wish to upload a file from your Photo Library to the App, we also require access to that Library. You have the option to grant either limited or full access via a permission request that appears when you first upload a file, or you can adjust it later in your device's Settings. This access is strictly to facilitate your ability to create prompts using files from your Photo Library, ensuring the App functions effectively. Rest assured, we do not store any data, photos, or files from your Photo Library on our servers. You can manage or modify your Camera and Photo Library access at any time through your device’s Settings (go to Settings > Privacy & Security [or “Privacy” in earlier iOS versions] > tap on “Photos”/“Camera” to review and change access permissions).
Payment Information: When you make purchases or subscribe to our services, you may need to provide payment information. This sensitive data (such as credit card details) is collected and processed by third-party payment providers in accordance with their privacy policies; we do not access or store your payment information.
Geolocational Information: Some features of the App require location data. With your explicit consent, we may collect geolocation information from your device. You have the ability to disable location tracking in your device settings, but please note that doing so may limit certain functionalities of the App.
Other Information: In addition to the information previously mentioned, we may automatically gather additional data when you interact with our Platforms. This can include your IP address, browser type, referring and exit pages, device type, and other usage statistics. We also use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, allowing us to recognize returning users, remember preferences, and refine our advertising strategies. You can manage your cookie settings through your browser.
Information from Third-Party Advertising Companies: We may share usage data with third-party advertising companies to improve ad distribution and optimization. These companies may employ cookies, pixel tags, and similar tools to gather information about your interactions on our Platforms. If you wish to opt out of third-party interest-based advertising, you can take immediate action by visiting http://www.networkadvertising.org or http://www.aboutads.info/choices.

We may share your information with third parties in a variety of ways:
Service Providers: We engage third-party companies to carry out essential functions on our behalf, including marketing, customer service, and technical support. These companies only access your information as necessary to fulfill their roles.
Aggregated Data: We may utilize aggregated, non-personal data for research, analytics, and other purposes. This type of data does not identify individual users and is used to enhance our services.
Affiliates and Business Transfers: We may share your information with our affiliates or during corporate transactions, such as sales, mergers, or other asset transfers.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when mandated by law or to safeguard the rights and safety of our users, our company, or others.
